Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Tubely handles information when you use the Tubely iOS app and this website. Tubely is operated under the name “Tubely”.
What Tubely does not collect
- No accounts. Tubely has no sign-up, sign-in, or user profiles.
- No analytics. The app and this website contain no analytics or tracking software.
- No advertising. Tubely includes no advertising SDKs and shows no third-party ads.
- No website cookies. This site sets no cookies and uses no persistent browser storage — it is a static page with no data collection of any kind.
Tubely operates no servers that receive your personal information.
Information that stays on your device
Your saved tracks, playlists, playback-quality settings, and other preferences are stored locally on your device and never leave it. Tubely cannot see, access, or recover them.
Information YouTube and Google may process
Tubely is a music player powered by YouTube. When you use the app:
- Your search queries are sent to YouTube to find music.
- Video and stream requests are sent to YouTube to load artwork, metadata, and playback.
- As with any YouTube traffic, YouTube and Google may receive your IP address, device and network information, and playback activity while serving those requests.
That processing is performed by Google under the Google Privacy Policy. Tubely does not control, and is not responsible for, how Google handles information it receives.
Deleting your data
You can remove individual saved tracks and playlists inside the app at any time. Deleting the Tubely app from your device removes all of its remaining local data. Because Tubely stores nothing on servers, there is nothing further to delete elsewhere.
Third-party services
YouTube is the only third-party service the app communicates with. Your use of YouTube content through Tubely is also subject to the YouTube Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy.
Children’s privacy
Tubely is not directed at children under the minimum age required by the YouTube Terms of Service. Tubely does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children, because the app collects no personal information at all.
Security
All app data lives inside the standard iOS app container on your device, protected by your device passcode and iOS encryption. Since Tubely transmits nothing to its own servers, there is no Tubely-held data to breach.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Material changes will be called out at the top of the page.
